About Mia
Mia Khalil is an Integrative Mind-Body Practitioner, Neurolinguistic Programming Coach, and author,
renowned for her compassion, heart and impact.
Born and raised in the Middle East, Mia spent twelve years amidst the Lebanese Civil War, and first discovered the taste of freedom and peace at the age of eighteen, when she immigrated to Montreal, Canada. There, she learned how to process childhood memories and trauma through deep inner work and the powerful healing powers of creative writing and poetry.

Her unique, heart-centered approach reflects not only her personal experience of healing, but also includes her training in practical neuroplasticity and the emerging mind-body revolution in chronic pain treatment with Dr Howard Schubiner — one of the contemporary leaders in treating chronic pain and founder and director of the Mind Body Medicine Program at Providence Hospital — and Hal Greenham BSc (Psych), Somatic Psychotherapist. Mia is also trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET.)
Mia is Board Certified by the Association for Integrative Psychology (and follows the Association's Code of Ethics) as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis, Mental and Emotional Release® Therapy, and as an Integrative NLP Coach. Mia is a Teacher of Presence through the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, a Certified Nutrition Coach by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and a Certified Spinning® Instructor.

Holder of a Master’s Degree in Communications from the Université de Montréal, Mia spent over 25 years in Senior Communications roles with many Canadian Federal Departments, mainly the Department of Justice, as well as global iconic companies headquartered in the United States.

Mia is a proud mother of two young adults and lives on Long Island, New York. She is a strong advocate for equality, individuality, authenticity, and self-empowerment. A great believer in humans' ability to design their own reality, Mia coaches people to reclaim their power and live a life of joy, health, and wellbeing.
